In 2019 I was appointed to Moville UMC as a part-time Licensed Local Pastor. I love studying God's Word, preaching, teaching and walking alongside others as they explore and navigate their faith journey. 

 

I grew up in Sioux City Iowa and graduated from North High School. My husband Dave and I have been married for 35 years. We have 3 adult children, 4 grandchildren and a Shih Tzu named Hope. We love spending time at our cabins in the Black Hills and Northern Minnesota with our family; hiking, kayaking, swimming, fishing and enjoying the beauty of God's creation. In my spare time I enjoy writing, reading, cooking, baking and knitting. 

 

I graduated from the School for Lay Ministry in 2009 and it was during my time as a student in SLM that I felt God calling me into pastoral ministry. I graduated from Licensing School in May 2014 and received my first appointment in Sioux City Iowa in July of 2014.

 

In 2018 I graduated from the Clinical Pastoral Education program through St. Luke's College and I am currently a part-time chaplain at Unity Point St. Luke's in Sioux City Iowa. Previous work has included; Church Administrative Secretary, Women's Ministry Director and Minister of Adult Ministry. I have been a Preschool Sunday School teacher, Youth Group leader, Adult Bible Study leader and have created and led women's events and retreats.
